STRATEGY IN THE MIXED DIVISION

Mixed play in Ultimate has a rich history. It is the standard in many parts of the world, and may well be the dominant style in terms of total numbers. From informal high-school pickup to world-class Mixed Championships, ultimate's unique game allows for an interesting mix of strategy in a two-gender environment.

I [Ben] have been lucky enough to play with and meet many of the best players in the Mixed Division. In this the first feature from The Huddle, we've asked experienced authors on the best Mixed teams to weigh in with their thoughts on strategy, game planning, and execution in the Mixed Division. The Huddle would like to thank these authors for their contributions, and we hope our readers enjoy this look at Mixed Strategy.
