The Youth Division began in 1988 and has grown to include nearly 14,000 student-athletes across over 400 club and school-based teams.  2005 marked the introduction of a summer youth club competition structure to complement the existing high school based play season. The division currently includes championship play at the high school, U-19, and U-16 levels, in addition to development level programs for elementary and middle school players.

The 2018 Youth Club Championships (YCC) will take place in its perennial home at the National Sports Center in Blaine, Minn. for the 14th consecutive year, Aug. 4-6, and will again be hosted by Minnesota Ultimate

We had a very positive response to combining YCC with the U.S. Open in 2017, and we will do it again this year with the International Club Championships division taking place Aug. 3-5, before YCC gets underway on Aug. 4 at the National Sports Center. The event will be the biggest of the year, with more than 2,000 athletes competing across four days of play.
