YOUTH PLAYING LIMITS DEBATE

We've been around Ultimate for more than a decade now, and few debates spark such instant and compelling emotion as this one. Should young players be limited? How? Who should make those decisions? Very few react to this debate impartially, and it is one that will be crucial to the development of our sport.
Most of us grew up clamoring for as many games as we could get...a triple-header? Great! But, then again, most of us are scarred, have livers wracked by Cox-2 inhibitors, and will probably not walk well when we are old enough to know better.
To promote and further this debate, we went searching for knowledgeable folks to debate both sides of the issue. Mike Mullen and Adam Simon have graciously met that call. Both have written initial arguments and rebuttals, and were exceptionally candid and respectful in discussions with us about the framing of this Special Feature.
