The 1990 UPA College Championships took place in Phoenix, AZ.

Princeton and Wisconsin tied for the Team Spirit Award for Pool A, and Carleton College won for Pool B.  This award was voted on after pool play.

Developed in 1987 by Sholom Simon, the UPA College Rankings rankings utilized a computer algorithm based loosely on a formula borrowed from the U.S Chess Federation.
