  • Instructors

  • USA Ultimate aims to host 25-30 coaching clinics across the United States each year with the help of local disc organizations and volunteers.

There are 4 components necessary to host a workshop:

    1. A local organizer who can plan for the clinic with USA Ultimate HQ. The local organizer will promote the clinic & run registration the day of the workshop.
    2. Dates & Locations: A weekend date that doesn't conflict with local ultimate events, national ultimate tournaments, and a facility with a classroom & a place to run around is needed for a successful workshop.
    3. USA Ultimate will help you schedule & confirm a CDP Instructor
    4. Coaches! the minimum number of coaches for a clinic is 10, the maximum is 20.

Contact workshop_help@usaultimate.org & let us know where you are located, who the local organizer will be, and which level of clinic (I or II) you'd like to bring to your community to start the process today! USA Ultimate will follow up inquiries with more detailed hosting information.

Clinics are generally held September through April (though in certain circumstances can be held at other times) & require 8-12 weeks of planning & promotion.
